Star Wars 7 AnnouncedThere is a new trilogy going to be made, which will be distributed by Disney, who has now bought Lucasfilm. http://www.theage.com.au/entertainment/movies/lucas-defends-star-wars-turn-around-20121031-28ir1.html Also, Lucas shows how upset all of his haters have made him - ironic because Lucas was the one who CREATED Star Wars. As for the actual trilogy that will be made, I don't know what to think. I enjoyed all six films, but I'm not sure what to think right now. I guess I just need to see when in Star Wars continuity this will take place, and who will be making it.
Also, sorry for the lack of journals lately. To be honest, I just can't think of much to say.

Feathered ornithomimosaurs! At last!A new Jehol find? Nope! It's Ornithomimus itself! Two new specimens (an adult and a juvenile) have been found with feather traces, and a long-known adult specimen has been discovered to have what may be attachment points for large feathers on the arms. This means that pennibrachiae go down to the base of maniraptoriforms! The juvenile, however, doesn't preserve pennibrachiae, so it might mean that in these basal maniraptoriforms only the adults had pennibrachiae, and that pennibrachiae originally evolved for display. In addition, this also opens up the possibility of finding feathered dinosaur specimens in coarser-grained sediment than usually expected, as long as fossil hunters keep a sharp eye out for those delicate feather traces.

Dinosaur News #34New dinosaurs include new species of Mochlodon M. vorosi. There are also reportedly three other new iguanodontians, Huxleysaurus hollingtoniensis (formerly a species of Iguanodon), Darwinsaurus evolutionis, and new species of Mantellisaurus M. carpenteri, but no one seems to have the paper (at least not in digital form).
A neonatal Talenkauen santacrucensis specimen, a new specimen of Mei long (miraculously also in a sleeping position), and the soaring cycle of Diomedea exulans are described. Evidence of South American stegosaurs is confirmed. Aphelocoma californica are found to react to their dead and Corvus moneduloides are found to use casual reasoning. Potential cellular and molecular mechanisms for the development of early feather types are suggested. The evolution of quadrupedality in different ornithischian groups is investigated. The backwards flight of trochilids is found to be quite efficient.

Lol Talk Olo TalkSome stage guys came to our school to perform the two acts Girl Talk and Boy Talk at school, each for their respective genders. Was pretty strange, especially with one of the guys constantly making references to sex.
One of our blue-tongues got attacked yesterday. We don't know how it happened, but dad thinks it might've been from another one of them, since we are heading into breeding season after all.
Out of interest, has anyone here watched Gravity Falls at all? I've found some stuff about it, and it has at least caught my eye - I might even consider watching it sometime once I get everything out of the way.
Oh, and I'm writing the next PON episode (okay, I'll use that for my abbreviation for the series XD) as we speak. Here's what to expect: Sampson returns home, only to meet an angry Corrie who has been trying to contact him. Kollin has mysteriously disappeared, and Hadroshoe must face a new foreign invader during the search for the Albertonykus...

Lots of Interesting ThoughtsYes, I've had some pretty troperiffic fun lately. First things first:
I've actually noticed that the My Little Pony fandom could be compared to the light and dark sides of the force (though more like Jedi and Sith specifically). The bronies are what I see as the dark side (oh come on, don't be offended, evil is cool!), going with what they like and not worrying about restrictions, not to mention that is is pretty good at luring unsuspecting bronies-to-be. The anti-bronies would be sort of the light side, where they refuse to join them while keeping many restrictions for themselves. They act quite strictly and are absolute on anything brony, just like the Jedi are with forming attatchments. Neutral people are those who know about the show, but don't care at all. As for where I fit, I doubt I can fit in the neutral bit, because I actually do have some interest, but I don't think I want to actually watch it. Triceratops horridus isn't particularly pleased to see you.

This guy's a bit more heavyset than most of my other Triceratopses, especially with regards to the limbs. Basically this was practice drawing a Trike's head from a perspective I don't usually take.
